What we welcome

Pitch explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth checks and carefully scoped planning articles about bicycle types, fit, riding, routine care or cycling history. A useful contribution answers one reader question, defines its terms and makes the limits of its advice clear. Keep the focus on information readers can use without hazardous work, specialist intervention or assumptions about local rules.

Make the pitch specific

Tell us the proposed working title, the central question, the main points you would cover and why the piece belongs with Select Cycling Review. State whether the proposal is based on research, personal experience or both, and disclose any relevant commercial connection. Do not present personal experience as a universal result or claim tests, access or credentials you do not have.

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option for a pitch. A short proposal is enough; please do not send a complete article unless requested. We cannot promise acceptance, publication or a particular response time. If a proposal needs professional advice, official confirmation or changing local rules to be safe, it is unlikely to fit.
