Select Cycling Review

Editorial policy

Select Cycling Review aims to make cycling choices easier to understand. Our articles should be clear about what is known, what is a matter of preference and where a reader may need another source of help.

Accuracy and scope

We check factual statements against sources appropriate to the subject and avoid presenting opinion as fact. Articles should explain their terms, distinguish broad principles from context-specific details and avoid claims that cannot be supported. We do not invent testing, interviews, quotations, expertise or results. If a subject depends on local requirements or specialist assessment, we identify that limit instead of offering a definitive instruction.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made for reader clarity, not to secure a product mention or favourable coverage. Any sponsored article, paid placement or other material created through a commercial partnership is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee editorial endorsement, and partner material is kept distinct from independent editorial work.

Corrections

Readers can report a suspected error through the Contact page. Include the article and passage, describe the issue and, where possible, point to a source that helps us check it. We review correction requests, amend confirmed errors and make the change clear when the correction is material. We do not promise that every disagreement reflects a factual error.

Illustrations and review

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. They are illustrations, not evidence of a product test, place visited or event witnessed. We review wording and images before publication and revise material when a factual or clarity problem is identified.
